The last (and only) time I was in Boston, I wasn’t even old enough to legally drink, so this trip was basically a long-overdue redemption tour. First stop: Trillium Fort Point. And wow… it felt enormous. Full taproom, big patio, and a rooftop deck that makes you wonder if you should just move in and start paying rent. Instant favorite.
🍺 The Beer? Trillium is famous for a reason. Their lineup is stacked; juicy, hazy IPAs that practically scream Boston, plus sours like Daily Serving that make you question why you ever settled for “just okay” beer. I grabbed a few to bring home, which may or may not have counted as “breakfast” the next day.
✨ The Vibe? Modern, polished, and buzzing with life. Even though the place is huge, it doesn’t feel soulless, it feels like the place to be drinking beer in Boston. The rooftop deck is basically a cheat code for making every beer taste even better.
🍽️ The Food? Didn’t eat, which in hindsight was a mistake because the menu looked fantastic. But hey, priorities. Beer first, adult decisions second.
🧢 Merch? Naturally, I grabbed a hat for the collection. Because nothing says “responsible traveler” like spending more on beer gear than sightseeing. Plus, plenty of cans made the trip home with me as souvenirs I could actually enjoy.
🧼 Restrooms? Clean, modern, and not a confusing maze to find. You’d be surprised how many breweries can’t nail this one, but no issues here.

Bottom line: After years of waiting to legally drink in Boston, Trillium made it worth the wait. World-class beer, a killer space, and the kind of rooftop patio that makes you forget about your return flight. If you’re in Boston and skip Trillium, that’s basically a crime against good beer.
