Ever have one of those “well, um, actually pretty nice little Saturdays, going to go to Home Depot and buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond (Costco in my case), don’t know if you’ll have enough time”? Well, I did! Trying to get over to Costco and I hear rumors of a new Brewery in the area and instead of my nice little Saturday of shopping, I spent it a block away trying new beers. I can’t fight my nature and I’m glad I didn’t.
The place is upscale, open and modern, yet comfortable. It’s got that industrial charm mixed with the warmth of a local hangout with a large patio, fire pits, TV’s, games and of course, good beer. The outdoor patio is perfect for enjoying the Arizona sun (or shade, if you’re like me and trying to avoid sunburn, which is still hard in the summer). Since it is winter, I enjoyed a flight and a couple pints outside.
Food-wise, Pinnacle keeps it simple, but I was focused on beer and avoiding trouble because I was drinking and not running errands. They’ do have bar snacks and food trucks, so if you’re hungry, they’ve got you covered. I will definitely be trying the food truck on my next visit.
Restrooms? New, super clean, functional, and very well done. Merch? Pinnacle’s got some cool stuff and I grabbed a new hat that made its way back to my collection. There could be more, but if you’re a souvenir hunter like me, you won’t go home empty handed.
So, if you’re cruising around and supposed to be running errands in Scottsdale, make sure Pinnacle Brewing sneaks on to your chore list too. You’ll be glad you stopped!
